The Otolift Oto Air is a curved single tube stairlift designed for staircases where space is at a premium. It uses the smallest diameter single tube rail available on the market at just 60mm, compared to 80mm on most competing models. This makes it a good choice for narrower staircases or homes where keeping the staircase as clear as possible is important.
Otolift has been manufacturing stairlifts since 1968 and the Oto Air is one of the more innovative designs available today. Thornbury Stairlifts are approved installers and have fitted Oto Air models throughout Bristol, Bath, Gloucester and the Southwest.
Key features
The Oto Air can travel at an angle to negotiate steep or awkward staircases up to 75 degrees, which gives it a wider range of installation options than many comparable curved models.
The rail is made to measure for your specific staircase. The chair is designed to sit slightly further away from the wall than traditional models, which provides better knee clearance on the way up and down and makes the ride more comfortable.
The Oto Air runs on battery power, which means it continues to work if there is a power cut. It is available in a range of fabric colours as well as leather finishes.
Who is it suitable for
The Oto Air is particularly well suited to homes with steep or unusually shaped staircases where other curved models have not been suitable. If you have had a survey from another company and been told your staircase cannot be fitted, it is worth contacting us to discuss the Oto Air as an option.
